Looking to the dinning room, you can see that the window here is the same as in the lounge, although one of the leadlight panes has been lost so we'll probably try to find a replacement. Although this is the northerly side of the house (facing NW), the neighbour's building blocks most direct sunlight, and their windows would look directly into ours, so there's no huge benefit to opening things up. Also, this is another room that we use more at night than during the day. One of the other things that we plan on doing here is expanding the serving window between the dinning room and kitchen. In doing that we'll unfortunately loose some kitchen storage space, but that's manageable. In the entrance way, lounge and dining room we hope to remove the carpet and make use of our pine flooring, if it's in decent condition.
